WHERE DID IT ALL START?

The Open Studio is run solely by David Flood. David is an experienced musician from the North Dublin area with a BA Hons Degree in Music, with a specialization in Music Production. David wanted to make recording music more accessible to those who may not be experienced or familiar with the process. There is a default idea that time spent in a recording studio is for professionals in the industry, willing to spend thousands of euro to create a record. This doesn't have to be the case. David is also a choir director, and over the last ten years, has noticed great singers and people with big musical potential, who may pass up the idea of getting something recorded professionally. This is a gap that must be bridged, and can be with The Open Studio.

Although it is open to people with little to no experience, seasoned singers are welcome to create. The Open Studio does not substitute a professional standard for a relaxed atmosphere, it is possible to have both. So don't hesitate to get in touch!
